Story
I was born and grew up in Hong Kong. My parents and grandma are Buddhists. But I am very thankful that God planted a seed in my life at an early age through my aunt who brought me to church. When I was 15, I went to a youth summer camp and made my commitment to follow Christ. A year later, I moved to New Zealand and studied there for six years. After I finished my architectural degree I shifted back to Hong Kong and started my career there. In the spring of 1999, I came across EMI website and its vision is exactly what I have wanted to pursue, to use my architectural skill to serve the body of Christ and the poor.

In 2000 May, I joined an eMi² project trip as a volunteer for a week to Kolkata, India. It was a life changing experience and by the end of the trip, I felt that India is the place I should be. A year later, I came back to India as an intern for three months and then in February 2004, I returned eMi² as staff. In Nov 2007, the Lord blessed me with a loving husband and co-worker in Christ, Matthew Coffey, with whom I joyfully continue my service at eMi² till now.

It still amazed me how God has enabled me to serve Him and be part of His kingdom work. It is so encouraging to see Him at work in different parts of India.
