Story
My family live in Illinois in the Chicago-land area. I am the oldest of four children with two brothers and a sister. Additionally, I have a brother-in-law and a sister-in-law. I grew up in a Christian family and came to know the Lord at a young age. I went into Civil Engineering to be able to work with Architects on building design. Working in consulting engineering after college gave me the desire to use my vocation to serve people and to serve the church – shortly after that I found eMi. Since that time I must say it has been incredible to see the various parts and people of the body of Christ throughout India and South Asia – it has been such a blessing to be a small part of His purpose in these nations. In 2007 I married Ivy Ng, an Architect from Hong Kong and my eMi² co-worker of nearly 4 years. This has given me a whole new perspective on God’s purpose in bringing Ivy and I to India and the goodness of His plan for us.

Before joining eMi², I worked for three years in a small engineering consulting firm in a suburb of Chicago, which was focused on structural engineering for educational and commercial facilities. eMi² service has taken me all over India and to many other places in this region such as: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. I am passably fluent and literate in Hindi and have begun Urdu study. I have led over 25 project trips plus many other work or office trips for many types of projects and ministries.
