I came to eMi Colorado Springs in February 2002 and served as a project co-leader for two years there. In March of this year, I moved to North India to serve eMi2 in the same way.
Family
Single, but part of the 10+member eMi2 family that inhabits Oaklands. I come from a large family - four sisters and three brothers – all of whom live in the Midwestern US.
Professional Training and Experience
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, 1994. Professional Engineer, State of Montana—since 1999.
(1) Three years working for a small private civil engineering consulting firm in Missouri doing typical small community civil design and construction inspection;
(2) Four years as an engineer officer in the United States Public Health Service serving the Cheyenne people with water supply and sanitation facilities;
(3) Now into my fourth year as a staff civil engineer and project co-leader with eMi. My first two years were in the Colorado Springs office.
All of my international travel has been with eMi. In 2000 I served as a volunteer on an EMI project team to Russia and as eMi staff, I have since visited Cambodia, Thailand, Kenya, Guatemala, and India. Until 2000, my ministry experience was confined to the U.S….varying from neighborhood children’s programs to living my faith out on an Indian reservation in Montana. Since 2002, I’ve been on board full-time with eMi and have experienced many opportunities to share my faith in countries around the world.
If God told me to live long term in a cross-cultural setting, the country I would chose...
